In 2005, I self-released a 6 song EP under the
name Jitterbug Thompson. Three songs off of that
EP received national attention. “Model A” and “442”
were played on NPR’s Car Talk. “Fool” was one of
two songs by independent artists included on the
Americana Music Association’s annual compilation,
This is American Volume 2, which also features tracks
from artists like Mary Gauthier, Robert Earl Keen
and John Doe.
Last year, I sold my beloved Triumph motorcycle
to finance an album, aptly titled
“Goodbye Bonneville”.
Produced by myself and Kenny Woods, this album
has got plenty of twang loads of soul and
is honest as the day is long
